In Winter and Spring

Winter is the only time to see the hills dressed in a white mantle that makes the vineyards even more magical and evocative.
Spring, on the other hand, is the ideal season to see the Langhe flourish and to visit in peace the most characteristic places.

The villages

The most beautiful villages to visit in the Langhe and a few "steps" from La Rosa Gialla, are definitely: Barolo, with its castle and the Interactive Wine Museum (WIMU), also ideal for families. The village of La Morra rises on the hill and is renowned for its Belvedere and the Barolo Chapel, one of the most photographed attractions on the web for its originality. Monforte d'Alba that, with its steep streets, reach the famous open-air amphitheater where you can see an enchanting view. And finally Alba, the city of the Hundred Towers, renowned for fairs and events that every year welcome thousands of visitors from all over the world.

The Big Benchs

In the world there are more than 110 giant benches and most are located in the territory of the Langhe. Impressive in size, they offer a breathtaking view, becoming one of the most instagrammed and photographed attractions. The first Giant Chair of the Langhe was also inaugurated in Novello, in memory of our beloved cousin Samuele Vaira. The giant chair is an alternative way to best admire the hills drawn by the vineyards while fully enjoying the breathtaking landscape that extends to the mountain ranges of the Alps.

The green hills of the Langhe are a popular destination for the summer months.

Summer is a festive season! From the most traditional country festivals to the most exclusive events such as Collisioni, Monforte in Jazz, La Mangialonga and many others where food, good wine and music are the undisputed protagonists. September is the month of events par excellence: The Grape Harvest Festival in Fontanafredda, the wine festival in the town of Alba and finally Cheese, the international event dedicated to milk forms organized by Slow Food !

A walk to dispose of lunch is a must, winding through the streets of the most beautiful villages from where comes the incomparable scent of White Truffle. In addition to La Rosa Gialla you can book the authentic search for the Alba White Truffle and find on your arrival a good plate of hot tajarin on which to taste it.
